takethewords: “You’ve lost your shoes!” The Doctor says with a breathless chuckle. Rose bites her lip as she runs beside him and grins, like it doesn’t matter. When they get far enough away that they can walk again, he picks her up with no warning and she squeals. “Doctor!” She wraps her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, one foot sliding beneath his long coat. “Can’t have you stepping on a stone or glass or a rusty nail. In fact you might want to have a tetanus shot, traveling with me.” His breath is warm on her neck, his hands holding her beneath her bottom and they bounce a little as he carries her back home. “Oh, I don’t know. If it gets me free rides like this, I might go without shoes all the time. Start going barefoot, as well.” Rose bites at his earlobe playfully and the Doctor shivers. “Naughty thing.” He presses her against the TARDIS, and she gasps, raking her fingers through his hair. He squeezes her bottom and she smiles against his mouth, her lips ready for the inevitable smash. Rose hums a tune as they kiss, a tune that turns into bubbling laughter as the Doctor stumbles his way into the TARDIS with Rose in his arms.

old-sock-drawer: Rose collapsed to the pillow, her heavy breathing collapsing to a giggle.  The Doctor grinned and curled his arm around her waist, kissing her shoulder and all the way up her neck.  ”I will never,” she began, “doubt your superior Time Lord physiology again.” He chuckled and stroked the skin at her hip.  She practically glowed around him as she turned so that they were face to face, chest to chest, legs entangled.  ”You better not,” he said, kissing her soundly, holding her more firmly against him and breathing against her lips, “Because I could go for hours.” Rose laughed, running a hand through his hair.  ”Bet you could,” she replied. She settled down against him, pressing a kiss to his chest and inhaling his scent.  He stroked her hair and asked, “What are you thinking about?” She sighed and looked up at him, tears in her eyes.  ”This can’t last,” she whispered, biting her lip. He furrowed his eyebrows and shook her head.  ”What are you talking about?  Of course it’ll last!” he exclaimed, beaming at her.  ”You and me, Rose and the Doctor, all of space and time.” She smiled sadly at him.  ”Time to wake up, Doctor.” “Rose—” “Doctor, it’s time to wake up.” “Rose, don’t.” “Doctor.” “Rose.” “DOCTOR!” “Doctor!” The Doctor woke with a start, Rose’s name on his lips, looking up at Martha, his hearts pounding furiously.  He opened his mouth to speak but, for once in his life, the words wouldn’t come. “Come on, Doctor, time to go,” she said, giving him one of her signature empty smiles before turning her back and leaving the room, expecting him to follow. dazzledvale: This is the look. The proud look of The Tenth Doctor. The look that he gives to Rose at ‘The End of Time Pt II’. I loved how the last person the Doctor wanted to see with Ten’s eyes was Rose (And she was also the first he saw with them too). He just has so much love for her and honestly I don’t think words could describe the way he looks at Rose Tyler.
